Sporting Dimension

Late last term we all enjoyed the annual Be-Active-a-Thon. Blessed with fantastic weather, students participated in a day full of activities, fun and colour. It was fabulous to see many families join us throughout the day and cheer on our Cup Runners during the morning. The Sports Expo was a wonderful display of students’ physical abilities and talents. We are impressed more and more each year with the number of children participating in this part of the program. After the whole school one-hour activity sessions, students enjoyed being slimed with different colours during the ‘Slime Spectacular’.

It was a fabulous day and we raised approximately $8,000. Thank you to all our families for contributing in so many ways leading up to and during the day and the volunteers who helped shower us all in slime!

The much-anticipated Catherine McAuley Cup Run was again a highlight with the Reception to Year 4 students cheering on our Year 5 to 7 runners as they finished the race. Congratulations to Nickolas Watts (Year 6 – Harley House) and Matilda Hitchmough (Year 6 – Harley House) who were the first boy and girl runner to cross the finish line.

Below are the place winners for each House.
